I had an awesome long weekend up in Minnesota with Megan, Leo (above right) and her family. We spent a whole day at Mall of America running around doing some early Christmas shopping and wondering around LEGO Land. The log flume ride and roller coaster in the middle of the mall barely topped my memories of riding in the mechanical car that you paid a couple quarters for when I was little. We also spend a bunch of time at the aquarium that had some really sweet sharks and a fun backstage tour.
Thanksgiving dinner was delicious and I finally got to meet more of Megan’s family. We had a great time running around the park with Leo and running around Minnesota before it got cold. All in all, the perfect thanksgiving.
And yes, that 50 ft tall Megatron is made of LEGOs
